 The artistic event INCEPTION took place în uptown Bucharest's cultural core, at the Galateca Gallery, on December 3rd 2023, marking the beginning of the festive season and celebrating the tumultuous and relevant artistic activity of designer Sabina Georgescu, currently also a PhD student at the National University of Arts in Bucharest, specialising in sustainable fashion, national and international design award winner and present at art exhibitions worldwide.

 This Christimas we teamed up with Moxy Hotel, part of Mariott International Hotel Chain to organise the first edition of the coolest Christmas Fair in the city. Carefully curated by Sabina Georgescu and Ghazalleh Emami, the list of participants included fresh Romanian designers who specialise in working with porcelain, leather, textiles, etc. The first edition was a blast, as you can see from the photos, we had a lot of fun.

on October 23rd 2023 we celebrated and paid our tribute to the one and only Coco Chanel in a fashion show dedicated to the great French designer. Sabinne was present at Hotel Intercontinental Athenee Palace with a selection of outfits that included Chanel's favourite fabrics and signature pieces. Slow food, slow fashion festival in Timisoara, Romania

On October 14th Sabina Georgescu was invited to speak at the conference on Sustainable Fashion at La Pas festival in Timisoara, Romania. 

Bringing Sense of Wonder and sustainable fashion tips to CODRU festival in Timisoara, this October 2023, as they partnered with Creative Sustainability Week by Galatea Gallery.

At CODRU Festival this October 2023 Sabinne conducted a workshop where she taught participants how to make useful new accessories from dated or damaged denim pieces. The participants made brooches, phone holders, tiny purses or hair pieces out of the denim cloth available. This way they created something useful and did not waste the fabric.

On October 1st 2023, Galateca Gallery opened Creative Sustainability week with a conference on sustainability in Art and invited several contemporary artists to talk about their practices and how they strive to leave a positive mark on nature. Together we can build a better future for our children. 

On October 1st 2023, Galateca Gallery previewed Creative Sustainability week with a playful workshop where children between 6 and 12 years old learned about sustainability in Art and how they could make decorative presents by creating collages with left-over denim pieces. The children could take their works home and were awarded diplomas and gifts by Recliclad'or non-profit organisation for their efforts to save the planet. 

Sabina Georgescu, designer and founder of Sabinne was invited to take part in a conference and speak about the sustainable practices she uses on a day-to-day basis in her studio. Together with artists from several fields of action, performers, eco-movcment militants, directors and photographers, the idea of a better world with less pollution came to take shape

The first workshop for ideas and creative entrepreneurial connections initiated by UniCredit and The Institute during Romanian Design Week 2023 took place between May15th and 17th.

On December 15th 2021, SABINNE celebrated 6 years of existence. Uptown Art Gallery GALATECA was the perfect setting to display the brand’s most interesting, internationally awarded unique pieces, in a fresh approach.The guests could meet and greet the designer, Sabina Georgescu and admire the works of SABINNE so far.

Revista Atelierul  awarded Sabina Georgescu Best Designer at Art Fashion Fair 2019.

An event meant to promote young designers and their creations. 

Proud to be part of this event meant to encourage us to celebrate the beauty within and see beyond disabilities. 

Grammy-award winning musician, Kimbra, chose to wear an outfit by Sabina Georgescu for her first concert in Romania. She looked amazing in the #metamorphbride dress. 

The event is meant to discover and promote talented creators and models to represent Romania in international Miss Pagents. 

The National University of Arts Graduation Fashion Gala took place in Bucharest on June 29, 2019.

Sabina Georgescu was honoured to receive an honorary distinction for her creative efforts and international awards on behalf of the rector of UNARTE.

Her project Metamorph is her MA thesis and it is inspired by metamorphic rocks and coordinated by professor dr. Doina Lucanu.

#projectBlueGardens by Sabina Georgescu was part of the fashion event hosted by the Romanian Cultural Institute in Paris, at the Romanian Embassy. Among selected works of young fashion artists, students of UNArte - National University of Arts. 

Project Blue Gardens by Sabina Georgescu was selected to be part of the main exhibition at the Telephone Palace in Bucharest during RDW 2018.

Just before Christmas, a selected group of collaborators, socialites, influencers and clients got together to celebrate the launch of SABINNE in a smart location uptown Bucharest. The drinks, the snacks and the entire setting set the mood for a fantastic time. We thank our friends, clients and partners for joining us. It was great fun. Looking forward to creating this story together!
