INCEPTION

refers to that first moment when the Idea appears în the mind of the creator. It becomes reality through his continuous efforts, however în the absence of research and documentation, this innovative spark would be without depth. What pleases the eye, what entices the imagination and provokes the art consumer, are all part of a formative process that the artist undergoes, pendulating between trial and error, accumulating knowledge, destroying and building. And it all starts with an Idea.

Celebrating 8 years of SABINNE

The artistic event INCEPTION took place în uptown Bucharest's cultural core, at the Galateca Gallery, on December 3rd 2023, marking the beginning of the festive season and celebrating the tumultuous and relevant artistic activity of designer Sabina Georgescu, currently also a PhD student at the National University of Arts in Bucharest, specialising in sustainable fashion, national and international design award winner and present at art exhibitions worldwide..

This project wishes to let the public inside the artist's creative nest, giving access to the most intimate internal processes of transforming an Idea into reality. Information and sketches, moodboards and intermediary stages of the creative activity, textile structures in several stages of work, but also final edited photos from fashion editorials and the finished fashion items were on display. The viewer îs offered a complete, multjisenzorial experience and they can touch, feel and watch the artist's creative process.

The event was exclusively presented to the audience for only a few hours. Friends of the brand, fellow artists, curators, socialites, influencers, collaborators and partners, art professors and media personalities honoured the event with their presence.
