SABINNE 10 | Meet the Artist

On December 2nd, the National Museum of Romanian Literature in collaboration with artist and designer Sabina Georgescu, organized the event SABINNE 10 Meet the Artist, dedicated to the 10 years anniversary celebration of the brand  SABINNE, founded by the artist in 2015.

 

Monica Morariu, the exhibition's curator, held an opening speach, then the special guest of the evening, prof. dr. Ioan Lefter spoke with admiration about Sabina Georgescu's artisitic creations and the museum's activity, building connections between Sabina's works and the museum's literary legacy.

Next, international artist Eneli, together with Stefan Marin took the stage and enchanted the audience with a beautiful selection of Christmas carols from their own repertoire

​

The evening went on with a guided tour of the exhibition, a photo session and wine tasting. The esteemed guests also had the opportunity to try on some of Sabina Georgescu's creations.

​

During the exhibition SABINNE 10, the designer Sabina Georgescu held a workshop on December 6th to create Christmas decorations from leftover fabrics. The participants created holiday ornaments from scraps of textiles which temporarily decorated the Christmas tree in the museum.
