Some might call it stressful. Others may call it crazy. Anyone who has ever had to deal with the world of fashion knows how hectic things get when you are working on a new collection. Top that with trying to get people together for the photoshoot. I am used to doing things my way, that doesn't mean I don't ask for help when I am stuck. It just means I like to be involved in every aspect of the problem, I like to know everything there is to know about a subject and make the best of it.
I have dealt with organizing events and making collections on my own before but this time things kept falling appart just when I thought I had everything planned out. I found that knowing the right people and letting them know sincerely what you need is very important. It helps you solve things. We all have our own agendas and it is very difficult to find common grounds for projects. Communication is key.
In conclusion, against all odds, I did it. I worked on the collection on my own, saw it through from sketch and fabric to the finishing touches, I edited the site and made the logos and layouts for my business cards. I also started this blog. All this within a month. Yes, it was MAD! Yes, I felt I couldn't do it anymore. Yes, there were times when I wanted to quit. I didn't. Moreover, I would do it again. And again!
